Three on three, half court, competition with preliminaries played on Saturday, December 14th with Finals played on Sunday, December 15th. Please identify your team name when registering.

Individual competition played on Thursday, December 12th.

SWIMMING

Individual competition on Saturday, December 14th in a 25 yard pool.  The following heats are available:  

Individual Events for Men, Women, and Open: 

50, 100, 200 Backstroke; 50, 100, 200 Breaststroke; 50, 100, 200 Butterfly; 50, 100, 200, 500 Freestyle

200, 400 Individual Medley Relays for men, women and Open. Each team must have 4 individuals per relay team.  Make sure to identify your team name when registering:  

200, 400 Freestyle; 200, 400 Medley

GENERAL

What is the Salt Lake Unity Fest?

  • The Salt Lake Unity Fest is presented by Visit Salt Lake. SLUF is a multi-day competition that brings together the LGBTQ community, united for sports and festivities.  This annual festival includes sports competitions and nightly festival events that showcase the festive urban amenities of Salt Lake City.

Who is running the Salt Lake Unity Fest?

  • Summit LOC’s talented team owns and operates the Salt Lake Unity Fest.  Our mission is to inspire unity, create smiles, and ignite humanity through sports.


COMPETITION

Who can participate?

  • Anyone, age 18 years or older at the time of the competition, can compete in any competitive event.

Is competition only for the LGBT community?

  • Nope, competition is open to everyone!

What are the competition divisions?

  • Competitors will self-identify as Male, Female, or Open when registering.

  • Individual competitions will have three medaling divisions, Male, Female, and Open.

  • Team competitions will be co-recreational (Open, Female, and Male)


REGISTRATION

How do I register a Team?

  • Each person must register and pay the fee.  During registration you will list your team name.

  • Each Team will designate a Captain.  The Captain will check the “I AM THE CAPTAIN” checkbox during their individual registration.  Then our staff will reach out to the Captain and make sure your team is all set.

How many different events may I compete in?

  • You can compete in as many events as you would like, as long as they are not on the same day.

Is it possible to receive a refund on my registration?

  • Refunds will be available until October 31.



LOGISTICS

How will I receive my registration material?

  • Packet pick-up will take place at the Salt Palace Convention Center

Who can attend the evening events?

  • All registered participants have access to all SLUF events.

  • Daily tickets for the festival and nightly events can be purchased separately
